Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta
An incredibly delicious, ultra-creamy, and quick pasta dish tossed in a savory garlic parmesan sauce.
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
While pasta cooks, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant (do not brown).
Pour in the vegetable/chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer and let it cook for 3-4 minutes to thicken slightly.
Reduce heat to low and gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Season the sauce with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss continuously for 1-2 minutes until every strand is coated in the creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, splash in some reserved pasta water.
Remove from heat, garnish with chopped fresh parsley and extra parmesan, and serve immediately.
